What should I know if I am moving from ClickMeter?
If you are moving to ClickMagick from ClickMeter, here are some of the most common questions that other users have asked us.
Can I import all of my links from ClickMeter to ClickMagick?
ClickMeter and ClickMagick are two different platforms that operate in slightly different ways. As a result, there is no way to automatically import all of your links into ClickMagick.
Instead, you will need to create your links again within the ClickMagick platform.
Are Campaigns in ClickMagick the same as those in ClickMeter?
The Campaigns feature is a separate tool intended for tracking your paid ads. To use it, you must be able to add code to the pages you are sending traffic to. This is not the same as Campaigns on ClickMeter, which function more like Groups.
ClickMagick does have Link Groups that allow you to organize your links. To create a group, click on the "Tools" menu on the Tracking Links page, and select "Group Manager."
Once you have created a group, you can create or edit a link and add it to that group using the Group dropdown.
Will all my ClickMeter links work in ClickMagick?
ClickMagick Tracking Links are redirecting links, just like ClickMeter. However, there are some limitations regarding the "link slug" and the name of the link. Specifically, we do not support links with only three characters or links with excessively long names. As a result, you may not be able to transfer all of your links into ClickMagick exactly as they were.
Can I add a custom domain to ClickMagick to create links with?
How do I move my links to ClickMagick without breaking them?
First, create your links in ClickMagick with the default domain (www.clkmg.com). This way, you would know which links you are able to move exactly as they were with the same link slug.
