There are technically still two ways you can track conversions with Tracking Links – using Tracking Pixels that are added to your pages, or via server-to-server tracking (otherwise known as Postback URLs or webhooks).

However, tracking conversions with Tracking Links and Tracking Pixels is an outdated form of tracking, and due to industry-wide changes and the phasing out of “third party cookies” it’s becoming less accurate every day.

For this reason, you should NOT use Tracking Links with Tracking Pixels to track conversions any longer.

Instead, you should generally be using ClickMagick Campaigns for all of your conversion tracking.

It’s way more accurate, and more powerful, than Tracking Links.

The other method of conversion tracking with Tracking Links uses server-to-server tracking, which is unaffected by the industry-wide changes related to third-party cookies.

This form of tracking is generally used by affiliate marketers working with networks that support Postback URLs …

But even these marketers should be using ClickMagick Campaigns for conversion tracking – NOT Tracking Links.
