In a split test, returning users will always see the same page they initially saw.

This is the only way to get accurate results – showing a visitor a random page each time would be like allowing them to vote more than once in an election. Their “vote” would become meaningless.

Just keep in mind this applies to you as well — you will always see the same page because you will look like a returning visitor to ClickMagick each time you try to test your split test.

So if you want to test that you’ve set up your split test correctly, the easiest way is to use a new “Incognito” or “Private” window in your browser. This makes you appear to be a new visitor, which allows you to test your setup.

Remember, you have to open a new Incognito or Private window every time you want to test a new click.
